Three of my favourite image libraries

As a marketing and design professional as well as a blogger, I am always looking for good quality stock images that are either free of very reasonably priced. There are a few that I use on a regular basis so I thought I would share them here.

My three favourite images libraries are:

Death to the Stock Photo

Death to the Stock Photo was founded by Allie and David, two rogue photographers after noticing that there were too many brands, bloggers and creative struggling to find images that fit their vibe and tribe. They had files of their own on their laptops gathering dust and decided to send them around. It has grown from there.

By signing up to Death to the Stock Photo – you will be sent a new pack of images you can use as you wish directly to your inbox.

Unsplash offers 10 free photos every 10 days for you to download and do what you like with them. All photos are published under Creative Commons Zero which means that you can copy, modify, distribute and use the photos for free, including commercial purposes without asking for permission from or providing attribution to the photographer or Unsplash.

Pixabay has over 320,000 free photos, vectors and art illustrations that you can source for you blog, business or project. You can use any Pixabay image without attribution in digital and printed form, even for commercial applications. The beauty of Pixabay is that you can search for images.

There are a lot of image libraries out there and my only advice is to make sure that you check the licence that accompanies the photo before using it.
